Temporary Traffic Shift, Lane Reductions Expected On SR 60 In Plant City Starting Friday

PLANT CITY, Fla. – Motorists traveling on State Road 60 in Plant City should prepare for a significant temporary traffic pattern change beginning at 9 p.m. this Friday, June 5.

The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) contractor will implement a new configuration on SR 60 stretching from west of SR 39 to west of Clarence Gordon Jr. Road.

The upcoming traffic pattern will shift all traffic to the south side of SR 60, resulting in reduced travel lanes in both directions. Additionally, U-turn movements will be temporarily restricted within the affected construction zone.
