LAKELAND, Fla (WFLA) — This month is the 10-year anniversary of Polk Pride, an event that has grown from a few hundred people to thousands.
“Our first year we stood on the stage and we watched as people filed into the park. It only ended up being a couple hundred people but we were really proud of the work that we did to make it happen,” said Kerri McCoy, vice president of Polk Pride.
