TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A few spotty showers are possible Monday morning along the coast with rain chances increasing to a 40% this afternoon. Spotty to scattered storms will develop and drift inland through the day.
Rain chances will increase each day this week with the highest chances Thursday through Saturday.
A cold front will move in from the north and stall out over the peninsula. This stalled front will bring quite a bit of moisture but also the chance for an area of low pressure to develop along it by the end of the week.
