Lakeland Woman, Brenda Spikes, Arrested Again After Failing to Appear in Court
LAKELAND, Fla. – Brenda Spikes, 65, of Lakeland, was arrested on Monday, July 7, on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
The arrest follows a previous legal matter involving Spikes. In May 2024, she was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office during an investigation into a shooting incident. At that time, Spikes was charged with Tampering with Evidence, accused of attempting to conceal a firearm used in the crime.
In June 2024, Spikes pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of Resisting/Obstruction of Justice. She received a sentence of 12 months of probation and 50 hours of community service. Her probation was scheduled to conclude on June 24, 2025…
