Burglar Apprehended in Mulberry, Faces Multiple Charges
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Lakeland man was taken into custody Friday morning after Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence on North Church Avenue in Mulberry.
According to PCSO reports, deputies arrived at the scene shortly after 11:30 a.m. on July 11th, following a call about an active break-in. Within moments of their arrival, deputies had apprehended the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Mark Sylvester Culmer, Jr., of Lakeland.
An investigation at the scene revealed that Culmer had allegedly gained entry to the home by breaking a window. In addition to the burglary, Culmer was found to be in possession of a significant amount of marijuana, totaling 319.6 grams…
