PLANT CITY, Fla. (BLOOM) — Santa is trading in his sleigh for sunshine as Keel Farms gears up for its annual Christmas in July celebration. A festive evening blending holiday cheer, family fun and a good cause.
The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Keel Farms, 5202 Thonotosassa Road in Plant City. Admission and parking are free, and pets are welcome.
Guests can expect dozens of local vendors, live music, and a free Santa bounce house. The popular toy drive benefiting No More Umbrellas, a nonprofit supporting children battling cancer and life-threatening illnesses, is also returning. Visitors who bring a new toy to donate will receive a free drink courtesy of Keel Farms.
“Our Christmas in July event is all about community,” said Clay Keel, president of Keel Farms. “It’s a great way to shop early for the holidays, enjoy some wine and cider, and support families who need it most.”
The toy drive runs throughout July, with all donations going to families in treatment at West Central Florida’s pediatric cancer hospitals. The organization also provides gift cards, games, and financial assistance to help ease the burden on families.
Keel Farms is home to Keel + Curley Winery and Keel Farms Agrarian Ales and Ciders. The venue regularly hosts family-friendly events, including Sangria Night on the first Friday of each month and Line Dancing Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. Both are held in a large, air-conditioned tent to keep guests cool during Florida’s hot summer nights…
