Suspect Identified by Victims, Apprehended by K-9 Unit After Setting Fire in Eagle Lake Home
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old Bartow man, Jamaal Michael Grayson, was arrested on Saturday, July 19th, by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) after allegedly setting fire to a residence and then fleeing the scene.
Deputies responded to the area of Cameron Road and Grove Park Lane in Eagle Lake at approximately 6:51 PM following reports of an intentionally set fire. Upon arrival, the victims at the residence identified the suspect as Jamaal Grayson.
According to reports, Grayson entered the home uninvited and became involved in an argument with one of the victims. When the victim left the room, Grayson reportedly ignited a fire in that area before departing the residence without a word…
