Family-run Babson Park restaurant makes list of Florida’s most unique places to eat

For those taking in nature’s beauty along Lake Wales Ridge, there lies a family-run restaurant bursting with colorful character and whimsy that shouldn’t be missed. Tammy and Tim Bracewell haved created the perfect rest stop along Ridge Scenic Highway, or Florida State Road 17, called The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern.

It’s hard to miss, given the large billboard signs announcing its location along with dozens of smaller arrow-shaped signs directing potentially hungry patrons where to find “great food,” “great drinks,” and “good friends.”…
