LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred in North Lakeland over the weekend, resulting in the theft of two firearms and multiple wallets.

Authorities are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance footage.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, during the late evening hours of Saturday, July 26th, and the early morning hours of Sunday, July 27th, a suspect was seen riding a bicycle through various neighborhoods off North Campbell Drive, attempting to open car doors.
