‘This is a movement’: Tampa Bay law enforcement complete course aimed at expanding access to mental health resources

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A movement across the Tampa Bay area aims to save lives and change the future of policing.

Earlier this week, law enforcement officers from across the area celebrated the completion of the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association Applied Mental Health Advanced Technical Certificate for First Responders program at St. Petersburg College.
