Polk County school district is revising zoning boundaries for its high schools

Polk County Public Schools is beginning the process of redrawing attendance boundaries for its 16 high schools.

The district will give students’ families a chance to weigh in through a series of public meetings.

Joshua McLemore, the district’s director of facilities planning, provided an overview of the recommended changes for school zones during the July 29 School Board work session in Bartow.
