CASA Volunteer Open House
CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) Pinellas is holding a volunteer open house Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Family Justice Center, 1011 1st Avenue N., St. Petersburg.
All skill levels are appreciated. Opportunities include community education, outreach support, crisis intervention and providing safe environments for survivors of domestic violence and their children. CASA also offers community service hours in its thrift shop.
Campbell Park Cleanup
Campbell Park Neighborhood Association, in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful, is holding its next monthly cleanup Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 until 11 a.m.
Volunteers will assist with litter cleanup in the Campbell Park neighborhood. Participants are asked to wear closed-toed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. A hat and sunglasses are also recommended. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult…
