RIVERVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said a man is lucky to be alive after his car was shot at nine times while he was sitting in a hotel parking lot in Riverview.
HCSO said it happened on Friday at the Extended Stay hotel on Everhart Road at around 2:15 p.m., when deputies responded to a report of gunshots.
Court records show that the victim had multiple verbal confrontations with the suspect, 37-year-old Jahsheed Scatliffe-Kalunda, in the week leading up to the attack.
