Plant City Traffic Alert: New Traffic Pattern On SR 60 Begins This Saturday

PLANT CITY, Fla. – Starting this Saturday, August 23, drivers traveling on SR 60 in Plant City will encounter a new traffic pattern as construction crews begin major road improvements.

According to a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announcement, traffic on SR 60 will be shifted to the north side of the road, affecting the stretch from west of SR 39 to west of Clarence Gordon Jr. Road. This new pattern is expected to last for approximately eight weeks, weather permitting, while crews work to build new travel lanes on the south side of the road.
