WATCH: Drone carrying narcotics crashes into home; Florida deputies arrest suspect

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A drone packed with meth and fentanyl slammed into a Florida home, then the suspect showed up at the front door.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on August 19 near 18500 Hannah Michaela Lane. Homeowners contacted authorities after a man appeared at their front door, reportedly trying to retrieve a drone that had just crashed into their property.

Deputies say the drone was carrying multiple bags of narcotics, including methamphetamine and fentanyl. The homeowners turned over the drone and drugs to the responding deputies. One of the bags had “share this” written on it…
