Deputy Arrests Driver After Clocking Red Chevy at 85 MPH in 30 MPH Zone
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A traffic stop on Thursday afternoon in Lakeland led to the arrest of a 25-year-old Winter Haven man after a deputy clocked his vehicle traveling 55 mph over the speed limit.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Sadler was conducting traffic enforcement on Skyview Drive, a residential street with a 30 mph speed limit, when he observed a red Chevy sedan speeding. At approximately 5:53 p.m., radar confirmed the vehicle’s speed at a staggering 85 mph.
