From Camper to Cruiser: Probation Violator’s Escape Attempt Foiled by Four-Legged Deputy
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old Frostproof man with an active felony warrant for violating his probation was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after a brief chase through a rural property.
Kurt Hugh Gaddy, who was wanted on a Polk County warrant, was seen by deputies attempting to flee a camper on Herndon Road, only to be caught by a swift-footed K-9 named Owens.
