Florida man leaves a homemade trailer on train tracks, argues with the conductor, hides in a bush, then kicks a K-9

Around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, Josue Castaneda-Castro drove a black Chevrolet pickup towing a homemade trailer. He approached the intersection of State Road 37 South and Railroad Avenue in Mulberry, Florida. As the truck crossed in front of an oncoming CSX train, the trailer got stuck on the tracks, bringing the locomotive to a halt.

Oddly, Castaneda-Castro stepped out and confronted the conductor. The move quickly drew the attention of Polk County Sheriff’s deputies.

Florida man detached the trailer from his Chevy and drove away, leaving it behind to block the train entirely

Minutes later, he returned and attempted to climb onto a train car while continuing his verbal spat with the conductor.

When deputies arrived, the trailer remained in place. Castaneda-Castro got into his pickup. He started to reverse toward the officers.

Deputies ordered him out of the vehicle

Florida man initially complied, but then kept trying to get back into the truck. Police noted a strong odor of alcohol. The suspect ultimately refused to answer questions…
