HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a “murder-suicide” after two people were found dead at a home in Valrico.
Just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies say they received a call from a man stating that “he did something bad and that he was sorry.” They then responded to a home on Crystal Carbon Way, but received no answer at the door.
While on scene, deputies say the victim’s employer had contacted dispatch after the victim hadn’t been to work in several days. Law enforcement then entered the home to conduct a welfare check before finding the victim and the suspect dead inside…
