Hillsborough County residents who have been frustrated by traffic issues now have a new outlet to voice their concerns. As of today, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has revamped the process for reporting traffic-related complaints, making it easier for the public to get their messages through to the Traffic Services Bureau.
The current system now utilizes an online form that is expected to provide a more efficient way for complaints to be logged and addressed. This form can be found on the HCSO’s public website, under the Services tab in the Traffic category. According to the press release, the form is now the primary means for residents to report a gamut of issues, from speeding to reckless driving in their neighborhoods.
Although the new traffic complaint system has been implemented immediately, the details regarding how this will change the rate of complaint resolutions, or its impact on traffic safety, are yet to be seen.
