WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Spirit Lake Road near Lichtenwalter Road.
The PCSO was dispatched to the scene at 10:03 a.m. today. Authorities have confirmed one fatality and reported that two other individuals were injured.
As a result of the incident and ongoing investigation, Spirit Lake Road is currently shut down. The affected area is near the junction of several communities, including Winter Haven, Eagle Lake, Bartow, and Gordonville…
