POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A routine traffic violation in Mulberry on Tuesday night quickly escalated, resulting in the arrest of two men on multiple drug charges after a Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputy found methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7th, when a PCSO deputy observed a blue Chevy pickup truck fail to stop at a stop sign located at the intersection of State Road 60 and Bailey Road.
Upon initiating a traffic stop, the situation took a turn as the pickup truck came to a halt. The deputy reported seeing the passenger, later identified as 49-year-old Vincent Giarratano of Mulberry, toss a glass object out of the window and onto the grassy roadside…
