PLANT CITY, Fla. — Right now, city leaders in Plant City are pushing to enhance downtown, but a recent code enforcement letter has some business owners concerned it could drive customers away.
City Manager Bill McDaniel described it as a proactive, courtesy notice highlighting examples of code issues that were being observed. Still, several business owners believe stricter enforcement could hurt their visibility and foot traffic.
