“Jealousy” Leads To Arrest: Lakeland Women Arrested For Digital Revenge Plot

LAKELAND, Fla. – Two Lakeland women, including an insurance business partner and a nonprofit executive director, were arrested Monday evening on charges of Sexual Cyber Harassment after allegedly distributing sexually explicit images of a former boyfriend to his new girlfriend.

Kristina Taylor, 36, and Tara Johnson, also 36, stand accused of a digital revenge plot fueled by the discovery that Taylor’s ex-boyfriend had moved on.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began on Thursday, October 16, 2025, after the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) was alerted to the alleged harassment.
