POLK CITY, FL — A Florida woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say she attacked her husband and law enforcement officers during a fully nude, alcohol-fueled meltdown in her front yard.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Laylani Sullivan was arrested after allegedly choking, biting, and slapping her husband, resisting deputies, and striking a firefighter who was trying to help dress her. Sheriff Grady Judd described the incident as “a rip-roaring drunk” disaster.
‘She Took Off Every Bit of Her Clothes’
Deputies responded to a domestic battery call on October 15 at a home on Cypress Trails Drive in Polk City, about 40 miles southwest of Orlando.
When officers arrived, Sullivan’s husband told them the two had been arguing when she became enraged and violent. He said his wife — “very intoxicated and screaming” — choked him by the neck until he couldn’t breathe, according to the affidavit obtained by Law&Crime.…
