POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called out a 20-year-old Auburndale woman who is now facing charges for battery and grand theft of a motor vehicle, following an altercation with a friend who was trying to help her.
The suspect, identified as Makyla Hall, 20, of Auburndale, was reportedly at a house party and “got all messed up” due to intoxication. According to the Sheriff, a victim—a friend—attempted to do a “good deed” by driving Makyla and another friend to a Racetrack station in Lakeland and paying for an Uber to take Makyla home.
