POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Most drivers dread the flashing lights of a patrol car, but for one motorist stopped on Interstate 4 last week, a trip to the county jail came with a silver lining she had apparently been waiting for.
According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, 32-year-old Jessica Marrero of Davenport was pulled over for driving on a suspended license. While she reportedly told deputies she was on a payment plan for the infraction in neighboring Orange County, her license remained invalid, necessitating an arrest.
