Hiding Under The Bed And Ignoring The Law: Deputies Nab 2 In Polk County Warrant Sweep

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff’s deputies closed the book on two outstanding warrants, taking a sex offender and a repeat probation violator into custody in separate incidents across the county.

The most recent arrest occurred on Friday night, November 28, in Frostproof. Around 9 p.m., deputies located 56-year-old Todd Joseph Kurz at a home on Walter Avenue.

Kurz was wanted on an active warrant out of Highlands County. According to the Sheriff’s Office, he faces three counts regarding the Failure of a Sex Offender to Register. Deputies took Kurz into custody without incident, and he was booked into the Sheriff’s Processing Center…
