A Georgia man who played the face of a “bail bondsman” in a telephone scam targeting Florida residents has admitted to his role in the crime. Kimani Brennen Fletcher, 26, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and is now facing a potential maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
The scheme, which operated swiftly between April 15 and April 22, 2024, relied on intimidating victims into believing they were in immediate legal danger.
