Women used children in counterfeit cash scheme at Polk County businesses, deputies say

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people accused of using children to run a counterfeit money scheme, according to a Wednesday release.

A PCSO release said on Dec. 6, deputies received reports of counterfeit bills being used at two businesses at a Lakeland shopping plaza.
