Fort Meade Man Squares Up, Kicks At Polk County Deputies During Chaotic Circle K Arrest

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A trip to a local convenience store spiraled into a violent confrontation late Sunday night, ending with a Fort Meade man facing a laundry list of felonies after deputies say he tried to fight them, flee the scene, and even slip out of his handcuffs.

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Circle K on Charleston Avenue North around 11 p.m. regarding a disturbance. According to the arrest report, the situation escalated the moment they walked through the door.
