WMNF is honored to announce the receipt of a $10,000 grant from 200 Muslim Women Who Care®, a Tampa Bay–based collective dedicated to strengthening local communities through collective philanthropy and service. This generous funding will support the expansion of WMNF’s short-form video content for social media, including news headlines and behind-the-scenes storytelling featuring our board operators and programmers.
Founded in 2017, 200 Muslim Women Who Care® brings together Muslim women of diverse cultural backgrounds who are committed to putting faith into action through charitable giving. Modeled after the “People Who Care” movement, the organization leverages collective compassion to support local nonprofits and build meaningful connections across Tampa Bay.
This grant allows WMNF to translate the spirit of community radio into a visual format, making our work more accessible and engaging to audiences who primarily connect through digital platforms. These videos will offer quick news updates and an inside look at the people who keep WMNF on the air—highlighting the dedication, creativity, and care that power our station every day…
