FLORIDA — A 55-year-old man from Holiday was killed Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 3:16 p.m. at the intersection of Holiday Lake Drive and Solar Drive. Investigators reported the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Holiday Lake Drive, while a sport utility vehicle driven by a 41-year-old woman from Plant City was traveling northbound on Solar Drive.
According to FHP, the motorcycle was passing other traffic at a high rate of speed as it approached the intersection. Troopers said the SUV attempted to make a left turn in front of the motorcycle, and the two vehicles collided…
