Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) — We’re wrapping up the workweek on a warm and comfortable note across the Tampa Bay area. High pressure has settled in, allowing temperatures to climb back into the 70s this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.
Tonight stays mild, with temperatures easing back through the 60s under partly cloudy skies. It’s a pleasant evening for outdoor plans, with no weather issues to worry about.
Saturday turns warmer and a bit breezier as southerly winds increase ahead of our next cold front. Afternoon highs reach the mid to upper 70s, and much of the day stays dry. If you have daytime plans, including outdoor events or heading to the game, the weather mostly cooperates.
Late Saturday into Saturday night is when the weather changes. A cold front moves through, bringing a line of showers and a few isolated thunderstorms. Some of the rain could be briefly heavy, but this looks like a fairly quick-moving system…
