The Florida Department of Transportation will begin milling and resurfacing U.S. 17 the night of Jan. 11 from Transport Road in Bartow to Avenue G Southwest in Winter Haven.
The project is designed to improve the rideability of the roadway and enhance safety for motorists and pedestrians, FDOT said in a news release.
