Thank you to the Ladies of the Lake Quilters Club of Lakeland for honoring Sergeant Skillman and K-9 Mako at their recent meeting. The group of quilters presented a beautiful K-9 Quilt of Honor and a $500 check donation for the LakelandPD K9 Unit.
This quilt will help tell the story of K-9 Mako and Sergeant Skillman’s service and sacrifice while serving the Lakeland community, often standing in harm’s way.
