LAKELAND, Fla. – A local man’s run from the law came to a quiet end in a crowded parking lot Tuesday evening. Jarime Jennings, a 45-year-old resident of Lakeland, was taken into custody on January 27th after deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office caught up with him during an evening patrol.
Jennings had been on the radar of the Lakeland Police Department for some time. Investigators had already secured a warrant for his arrest following a series of alleged crimes involving local businesses.
