TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The man who brutally stabbed his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter to death in Dover was sentenced to death on Friday.
Judge Michelle Sisco affirmed the jury’s recommendation for Angel Gabriel Cuz Choc, a Guatemalan national who is illegally in the United States, to receive the death penalty for the murders of Amalia Coc Choc De Pec and her daughter, Estrella Pec Coc.

In April 2024, Cuz Choc confessed to murdering the mother and daughter in what Sheriff Chad Chronister described as a “gruesome scene.”
