LAKE WALES, Fla. (WFLA) — Two women have been accused of using funds meant for the Lake Wales Little League to buy thousands of dollars’ worth of goods for themselves.
Stephanie Witt and Alicia Bird, the organization’s treasurer, were arrested and charged with grand theft and scheme to defraud, according to the Lake Wales Police Department.
