TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay area families, stuck in Kuwait while on holiday, have been trapped in an active war zone since the United States conflict with Iran began a few days ago.
Two women, who did not want to be identified due to fear of retaliation, are begging the United States government for help evacuating the country.
“We just need help. We need help. We need answers. Number one: Answers. We want to know what’s going on. How come they’re not communicating? How come they’re not helping? Why did they just abandon us? This is the most powerful country in the world,” said one mother.
