Man pleads guilty for role in Polk County-based, multi-state forced labor operation

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Mexican national has pleaded guilty for his role in a forced-labor trafficking operation that was based in Polk County.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida stated that Alexander “Quichi” Villatoro Moreno, 53, pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court on a RICO charge.
