WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — Deputies on Friday released new information on the investigation into a hit-and-run crash that killed a child in Winter Haven.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began at 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday after deputies received 911 calls regarding two children who were run over by a car.
