POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Winter Haven woman died Thursday afternoon after a motorcycle accident on SR-570. Just before 5:00 PM on March 12, a Harley Davidson was heading west near the US-92 exit when the rider lost his grip on the bike while moving from a concrete overpass onto the asphalt.
The sudden shift in the road surface caused both the man and his passenger to be thrown off the bike and onto the pavement.
