Polk County Deputies Pull Suspect From Under Car After Kathleen Battery Call

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 23-year-old man ended up in handcuffs Saturday evening after a domestic dispute in Kathleen led to a brief manhunt and a standoff under a parked car.

The situation unfolded around 6:10 p.m. on March 14, when Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called out to a house near Deeson Road and Meadow Glen Court. According to investigators, Rafael Anotonio-Miguel had been physically violent toward a victim at the residence before bolting from the area on foot.

As deputies began searching the neighborhood north of Lakeland, they discovered Anotonio-Miguel was already a wanted man with an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court…
