DAVENPORT, Fla. – A 17-year-old from Davenport is behind bars after a Polk County Sheriff’s Office helicopter caught him in the act of breaking into cars during the early morning hours of Monday, March 16, 2026.
The situation unfolded around 1:09 a.m. when the PCSO Aviation Unit spotted a suspicious person on Palmer Road, just north of Davenport near the RISE Citrus Ridge Townhomes. From the air, tactical officers watched as the individual—later identified as Travis Adam Frasier—approached and entered a parked, unlocked vehicle.
As patrol units from the Sheriff’s Office, Haines City PD, and Davenport PD moved in to surround the area, the helicopter crew, known as Air6, reported that the suspect had hopped on a bicycle. Frasier allegedly rode from the townhomes over to the nearby Prestwick Village neighborhood, where he continued pulling on car door handles to see which ones were unlocked…
