Winter Haven soldier killed in Kuwait to be honored at Florida National Cemetery

BUSHNELL, Fla. (WFLA) — Family, friends, and military leaders will gather on Monday at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell to say goodbye to Maj. Cody Khork, a Central Florida soldier remembered for his service, leadership, and deep love of country.

The private interment will honor the 35-year-old Winter Haven native, who was one of six U.S. soldiers killed in Kuwait on March 1 during an unmanned aircraft attack as part of Operation Epic Fury.
