Polk County Sheriff’s Office warns residents about door-kicking teens

DAVENPORT, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is urging residents to be on the lookout for a group of teens who are kicking in doors.

Investigators said the first incident happened on March 14 on Lilac Way at Windsor Island Resort.

They say residents heard a loud bang and found their door had been cracked. Four days later, officials say six teen boys were caught on camera running across the street at Harper Grove Apartments after damaging another door. The boys then jumped over a gate and ran to a nearby McDonald’s…
