Eagle Lake Regular Arrested After $1,300 Phone Theft Leads Deputies To Kissimmee Resale Shop

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A familiar face at an Eagle Lake convenience store is facing felony charges after a routine stop allegedly turned into a heist. Brandon Jamal Campbell, 37, was arrested Sunday after a digital trail led investigators from a local shop counter to a resale business in Kissimmee.

The incident began Saturday afternoon when a store employee realized his $1,300 smartphone had vanished from the countertop where he was working.

Security footage captured the theft occurring at approximately 1:30 p.m. While the clerk didn’t know the man on the screen by name, the face was unmistakable; the victim told deputies the suspect had been a regular customer, stopping by the store nearly every other day for the past year…
