Southeastern University’s (SEU) Department of Social Work invites the public to join them for their free annual community night on Tuesday, April 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the D’Ann Brown Conference Center located on the third floor of the university’s Welcome Center.
This year’s focus is “Through the Looking Glass: Falling Down the Digital Rabbit Hole,” and is committed to raising awareness about the impact of social media and internet exposure on children and youth. The event is intended to equip those in the helping professions, parents, and guardians with practical strategies to promote healthy screen use, prevent overexposure, and better protect children in the digital age.
