Texas man accused of trying to deposit forged check for $30,000 with banking information taken from Lancaster County victim

EAST EARL, Pa. — Police in Lancaster County have accused a Texas man of stealing a victim’s banking information and trying to deposit a forged check for more than $30,000.

Clifford T. Martin Jr., 19, of Houston, is charged with theft by deception and forgery following an investigation by East Earl Township Police.
